1) Enterprise Edition:

enterprise edition software is available in the name of JBoss X.x EAP, here EAP
stands for Enterprise Application Platform. and for this software Red Hat will
providing a commercial support.

Downloading JBoss EAP edition, need a Red Hat account. If you have a Red Hat

2) Community Edition:
Up to
JBoss 7.x version, JBoss version is available under JBoss AS Community.

8.0.x version onwards JBoss version is available under WildFly project and
which has a new home at wildfly.org.
